Based on the UN message ‘twenty years of blood donation’, the NSS Unit of Bharata Mata School of Legal Studies observed World Blood Donors Day and honored donors who have donated blood more than once. The function was inaugurated by the District Panchayath Vice President, Ernakulam Mrs. Elcy George and the College Executive Director Rev. Fr. Sebastian Vadakkumpadan presided over the function and Principal Prof (Dr.) Seline Abraham was present. Blood Safety District Nodal Officer Dr. Meenabeevi welcomed, NCC UC College Battalion (22K) Officer Major Prof. K S Narayanan took Blood Donation Pledge.
Former IMA President Dr. N Radhakrishnan informed the World Blood Donation message. Adv. Raisa Ameer, District Panchayath Member, Ernakulam felicitated and NCC Officer of Bharata Mata School of Legal Studies, Mr. Vineethkumar EV expressed gratitude.
About 50 students and teachers donated blood in the Blood Donation Camp organized in this regard.
