Ethnic, Heritage & Nature Club
The idea of setting up Heritage Club in schools and college across the country began in 2002 to make the students aware and be proud of the richness of the natural and cultural heritage in their own locality, state and country. Ethnic and Heritage Club sprang up with the motto “Tharuvakam,Thanalekam.” It was done with the motive of creating awareness and participation in heritage related activities among the students.
Every student who becomes a member of heritage club is motivated to participate in heritage conservation and to learn more about their local heritage. A student who becomes a member of INTACH Heritage Club receives.
Heritage club badge to become a part of the growing community of heritage keepers. The heritage club programmes are designed so as to involve students in various activities geared towards heritage awareness and education. BSOLS Nature Club is a very dynamic and active club. It makes sure to instil the spirit and love of nature to all students and college fraternity. Recently we celebrated World Environment Day on 7th June 2019. Popular artist Rahul Sivan inaugurated the function and our Director Rev. Sebastian Vadakumpadan created an awareness on environmental issues through his message. The club tries to invoke in its members the need for planting trees and growing agricultural crops. The vegetable garden is held at high esteem and is a venture to be appreciated. We advocate a plastic free campus and are on the pathway for it to be fulfilled.
