The Kargil Divas observation was held at Bharatamata School of Legal Studies, Choondy, Aluva, on 26th July, 2024. The event was organized by the NCC unit in collaboration with the NSS unit of the institution.

The program began with a solemn ceremony, where the students and staff paid tribute to the martyrs of the Kargil War. Mr. Vineethkumar E V, NCC Coordinator, welcomed the gathering and introduced the purpose of the event.

Rev. Fr. Sebastian Vadakkumpadan, Executive Director, Bharatamata School of Legal Studies, delivered a keynote address on the significance of Kargil Divas and the importance of remembering the sacrifices of the Indian Armed Forces. He emphasized the need for patriotism and national unity.

As part of Kargil Remembrance, Students and Teachers lit candles and observed a moment of silence.

Inauguration of the function; Principal and Director

The highlight of the event was the planting of saplings by the NCC cadets and NSS volunteers. Principal, Prof (Dr.) Seline Abraham delivered message and NSS program officers, Mr. Sanimon and Mrs. Athira K M were present in the event. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Vineethkumar E V, followed by the national anthem.
