On 5th June, World Environment Day, NSS unit of the college organized Environment Day celebration under the theme ‘A shade for the nation’ (നാടിന് ഒരു തണൽ). As part of the program, saplings were planted outside the college, near the main road. Also, saplings were distributed to 100 houses near the college. The programme was inaugurated by College Director Rev. Fr. Sebastian Vadakumpadan and he also delivered the Environment Day message. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Seline Abraham administered the Environment Pledge. Vice Principal Mr. Pramod P. inaugurated the programme called ‘distribution of saplings’ along with the principal. 50 students participated in the programme. NSS Program Officers Mr. Sanimon VG and Mrs. Athira KM supervised the program.
