Constitution Literacy Drive ‘Niyamodayam 2024’ engages 100 schools simultaneously in Kerala
Aluva: In a collaborative effort, Bharata Mata School of Legal Studies, Choondy; District Legal Services Authority; and Teachers’ Guild, Ernakulam-Angamaly Archdiocese are set to launch a Constitution Literacy Drive ‘Niyamodayam 2024’ in 100 selected schools across different districts of Kerala in anticipation of India’s Republic Day with the aim of imbibing the essence of the Constitution among the students.Sri. P. Rajeev, Minister of Law, Govt. of Kerala, will inaugurate the drive on 15 Jan. 2024 at Cardinal Higher Secondary School, Thrikkakara. Hon’ble Justice KM Joseph, Former Supreme Court judge, will serve as the chief guest. The meticulously planned drive will see trained student squads conducting classes and coordinating activities in the selected schools.
Keynote address will be delivered by Sri. Joshy John, District Judge and Member Secretary, KELSA.
Presiding over the function, Rev. Fr. Sebastian Vadakkumpadan, Director, BSOLS, will be joined by Prof. Dr. Seline Abraham, Principal, BSOLS; Sri. Renjith Krishnan N, DLSA, Secretary and Sub-Judge; Rev. Fr. Thomas Nangelimalil, Director, Teachers’ Guild; Jeeba Poulose, President, Teachers’ Guild; Rev. Fr. Jomish Vattakkara, Assistant Director, BSOLS; Mr. Pramod Parthan, Vice Principal, BSOLS;Rev.Fr.Benny Palatty,Asst.Director,Teachers’ Guild; and other prominent sociopolitical figures.
This concerted effort emphasizes the commitment to imbuing legal literacy and constitutional awareness among the students.
